The tea planting area is located in primitive forest of Shan Ling Xi which is at altitude of more than 1800 meters. The most representative area is in “Long Feng Xia” and there are only three tea harvests each year.

As this tea area is located at high altitude ,there is relatively cold. The temperature difference is huge between day time and night time. The area is surrounded by cloud and mist through out the year. The frost period in winter is long and it causes the growth period of tea tree is relatively longer. The growth period of tea buds is more than 55 days on average.

The mesophyll of tea tree is plump and soft. The tea farms scatter around the fir forest. The special weather and soil conditions also give Shan Ling Xi tea identical flavor and special taste of "bring sweet from bitter"
