ABOUT Jasmine Tea
Different from other general jasmine teas, our Jasmine Tea leaves are not mixed with jasmine petals when being processed. Instead, during the the process of fire, jasmine petals are used to smoke the tea leaves. In this case, when drinking our Jasmine Tea, you won’t feel the bitterness of the petals but still can enjoy the floral aroma of jasmine.
Because of Jasmine tea’s noted nutritious benefits, it’s the most popular tea in Asia. After green tea is picked, it is dried by hot air. Then the tea leaves are pan fried, but not fermented, and the method helps to preserve the high nutritious and vitamin ingredients. Vitamin C in green tea helps to boost the immune system and maintain overall good health. Fluoride, found naturally in green tea, can strengthen bones and prevent dental decay.Jasmine is a suitable daily beverage.
Making a perfect cup
The temperature of water used for making Jasmine tea is lower.
The recommended temperature is about 80°C ~ 85°C. Use approximate 1/3 ~1/2 of a tea pot of tea leaves . It requires a longer brewing time than most of our other teas. 1-2 minutes is recommended and then increase steeping time for the subsequent brewing. Same amount of tea can be prepared by pouring water into it for several times.
