ABOUT Alishan Oolong Charcoal-smoked
Mt. Alishan is located at the high altitude of 1300~1500 meters mountain Area in Chiayi county. This mountain area is surrounded by clouds and mists through out the year. The temperature is usually cool and cold.There is usually sufficient sunshine in the morning but the temperature drops drastically when clouds and mists are formed in the afternoon. The huge temperature difference between day time and night time causes the slow growth of tea trees. As a result, the tea leaves have soft texture, thicker mesophyll , less bitter taste, and more pectin.
Alishan Oolong Charcoal- smoked-A004 is one kind of strongly baked and slighted fermented tea. Ali oolong Tea leaves are used as raw material and the special baking process is applied. The tea is 100% natural and with no additives. The tea presents amber color and tastes smoky. It is recommended to who often drink coffee and love smoky flavor.
Making a perfect cup
To make a 8 oz. cup tea with approximate a teaspoon of tea leaves . There Are two steps for brewing the tea. First, pour boiling water into the cup, cover it and leave it for 55 seconds. And then, pour out all the water but keep the leaves in the cup after the first 55 seconds and prepare for the second step. The second step is to pour boiling water into the cup, cover it and leave it for 45 second. After the two steps, the tea is ready for drink!
You can pour boiling water into the cup to make tea for several times with the same one spoon of tea leaves.
