ABOUT Alishan Chuloo
Mt. Ali is one of the most popular sceneries in Taiwan and also is a perfect place for tea planting. At altitude of 1300-1500 meters, this area is embraced by clouds and mists throughout the year. The red soil and the special climate in the area provide an ideal setting for tea planting. All the tea leaves are hand picked and hand processed based on traditional Taiwanese High Mountain oolong tea processing method. After the processing procedures, the original tea leaves will become ball-shaped leaves which individually consists of two or three leaves and a bud. This specific method gives Chuloo Oolong unique features such as fruity and floral aroma, refreshing taste, and great color presentation of light green.

Chuloo Oolong is top 10 Oolong tea in Taiwan.Compared with other heavily roasted teas, Alishan Chuloo is roasted at the final stage of the roast process. The special roast method not only helps to retain the natural sweetness of oolong but also provides tasters unique pleasant sensation on the tongue. Chuloo has very pleasant aroma of fruits and flowers and presents slightly darker color than regular roasted tea when brewed. The tea is perfect for those who are new to the art of drinking Oolong tea.
Making a perfect cup
To make a 8 oz. cup tea with approximate a teaspoon of tea leaves. There are two steps for brewing the tea. First, pour boiling water into the cup, cover it and leave it for 55 seconds. And then,pour out all the water but keep the leaves in the cup after the first 55 seconds and prepare for the second step. The second step is to pour boiling water into the cup, cover it and leave it for 45 second. After the two steps, the tea is ready for drink!
You can pour boiling water into the cup to make tea for several times with the same one spoon of tea leaves.
